NASTYA STEN

Nastya Sten, whose birth name is Anastasia Stepanova (Russian: Анастасия «Настя Стен» Степанова), is a Russian fashion model born on 22 March 1995 in Moscow.

She entered the modeling industry at the age of 17. Her first major international opportunity came in 2013, when she walked for Proenza Schouler during the Spring/Summer 2014 collections in New York. This early appearance was followed by a remarkably successful season the following year.

Sten's breakthrough came during the Fall/Winter 2014–15 fashion season. She walked in 63 shows, including four where she was selected to open the presentation and two where she had the distinction of closing the show.

Her career has included work with many of the leading fashion publications around the world. She has been featured in editorials for titles including AnOther, CR Fashion Book, Dazed, GARAGE, Heroine, i-D, Interview, The Last Magazine, LOVE, Numéro, Russh, V Magazine, British Vogue, Vogue Brazil, Vogue Italia, Vogue Japan and Vogue Russia.

Sten has also appeared on the covers of several major fashion magazines, among them Glass Magazine, Numéro China, Vogue Russia, Vogue Turkey and Harper's Bazaar UK. For one of her Vogue Russia covers, she was photographed alongside her close friend and fellow Russian model Sasha Luss.

Her connection with Luss extended beyond fashion photography. Sten also had a role in the 2019 film Anna, which starred Luss in the lead role.
